Our marketing objective is to broaden the VASCO TRAVEL name and trademark using every possible medium, allowing our franchisees to benefit from our established reputation. This will allow the franchisee increased name recognition within their own territory and across Canada.
Over and above the general marketing for all franchisees, Vasco Travel also allows each franchisee to do its own local marketing in the media format of its choice.
Internet
Today the internet is an important marketing tool in every industry, especially travel. Vasco Travel understands that although most people appreciate that there is still a need for the human touch when it comes to planning their vacation, they also know the reality of the industry and that a significant amount of marketing, advertising and sales is conducted through the World Wide Web. By working with our operating websites we are able to create “in your face” marketing (example), as well as link with social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and mySpace. By creating an identity online , Vasco is able to connect with all different types of clientele nationwide.
Radio
Vasco Travel along with its preferred suppliers periodically launch promotional campaigns with radio stations in different communities. Advertisement is generally during peak listening times where your agencies are able to promote exclusive products offered to Vasco Travel and at the same time significantly increase your agencies credibility.
Newspaper
As we continue to grow in the rest of Canada so does our relationship with the media. Our marketing will start in weekly flyers that will impact our existing agencies. Our commitment to advertising with major news papers is starting to develop and we will continue moving forward with this venture. Vasco Travel will work individually with you to develop advertisements in the newspaper of your choice.
Experiential Marketing –EXPOBUSES
Our EXPOBUSES are one of a kind- it is like NO other marketing tool in the industry. Aside from a monstrous coach bus in front of your agency, decaled in travel images, these buses also serve as an amazing sales floor! Each bus has been gutted and outfitted to look like actual cruise state rooms. There is a small meeting area in the front of the bus that provides a great way to create an interactive sales experience for your customers. Whether you are participating in a side walk sale, a trade show or just want to create some buzz around your agency, these buses are sure to do the trick. Buses are available to our franchisees for a small cost on a reservation basis.
Wrapped Vehicles
We`ve seen em, you`ve seen em…we have all seen them! There is nothing better than having cutting edge, head-turning cars embellished with your agency name! Vasco Travel has struck up a deal with KIA to offer our agencies and agents the opportunity to lease a KIA SOUL dressed in Vasco logos. With these cars zipping around the city you can be sure you will stir up more inquiry on those 1-800 lines, and on top of that, the exposure is priceless. Eblasts-Direct Mail Blasts
All Vasco Travel franchisors will also benefit from our extensive emailing list and home address directory. E-Blasts will be sent out weekly, directing clients to the Vasco Travel website, where they can then be directed to your retail location. Vasco Travel also has a direct mail program where they send out special offers directly to households in your area directing them right to your door step. Vasco will finance the first 100 mailings to help with opening advertising, and will charge a small fee for any additional mailings you would like to execute. There is no better way of getting customers through your doors, than knocking on theirs with great travel specials and exclusive offers!
